Quezon City CLARETECH held its 2nd Commencement Exercises, Friday, 19th of October at the Audio Visual Room of Claret School of Quezon City. A thanksgiving mass was presided by the Prefect of Apostolate, Fr. Eduardo Apungan, CMF at five o’clock in the afternoon at the Claret School Chapel. Fr. Leo Dalmao, CMF, Provincial Superior and President of the Board of Trustees gave the opening remarks. Vice Mayor Joyce Belmonte, who was invited to give tribute to the Graduates was not able to come due to another celebration in the City Hall.
This year’s commencement exercises was graced by Director Jonas DP Amora, director of Bureau of Internal Revenue. He inspired the newly graduated students of CLARETECH to strive, achieve and work hard giving example his life, of how he lived in poverty and how he reached what he is now. Furthermore, Jonard Lleva Derez gave the response to the challenge on behalf of his fellow graduates. After the exercises, a simple agapae was served at the conference hall.
