The second day of the Chapter started with a Morning Prayer led by Fr. Aldrin Castillones, CMF. Breakfast followed.
The session started at 8:00 o’clock in the morning with a prayer led by Fr. Alex Gobrin, CMF, the moderator of the day’s session. This was followed by the reading of various greetings of solidarity and prayers coming from different Claretian organisms all over the world. Then, the Chapter Secretary, Fr. Efren Limpo, CMF read the minutes of the previous day and it was approved after some corrections.
The moderator presented the day’s work which was to evaluate the status of the
Province based on the Reports made by the Provincial Government. We had five divided working groups and the secretaries presented the reports of the groups’ evaluation.
The afternoon sessions resumed at 2:00 PM with a prayer led by Fr. Alex. Followed by
the government response to the questions raised by the groups during their work as
mentioned above. Then a very alive and engaging open forum transpired in order to clarify some issues and concerns of the province.
The Evaluation ended at 5:00 pm which was immediately followed by a reflective activity given by Fr. Henry, which let the chapter members reflect and share their dreams and aspirations for the province and the qualities of a leader they want. Then the Sundeo followed.
The day’s sessions closed at 6:45 PM with a Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr. Eddie Ricaborda, CMF.
