The Claretian Missionaries are “servants of the Word”. This is our vocation. A Word that fills us with joy, as Pope Francis tells us in his apostolic exhortation “The Joy of the Gospel”.
As a group of Claretians, who form part of the Biblical Team of the Congregation, together with various Claretian Publishers and experts on the Internet, we gathered together in Colmenar Viejo (Spain) from the 17th to the 23rd of July under the theme “Crossroads”. We came from Cameroon, Tanzania, and Nigeria in Africa; Bangalore and Chennai in India; the Philippines and China; Colombia and Central America, Barcelona, Madrid and Rome.
In this “Crossroads” we have presented projects and initiatives which are being carried out on each continent in the Claretian Biblical Ministry; also, the projects and initiatives that the eleven Claretian publishers of the Claretian Congregation are carrying-out in the biblical field. And we have studied proposals of the presence of the new means of communication that the internet places before us.
