The Grade School Department of Claret School of Quezon City has been granted Level III accreditation status by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) and the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) valid until 2015.
Level III accreditation status is the highest level given to basic education programs by the FAAP and PAASCU. Such status grants CSQC the freedom to “innovate without need for prior approval provided that the Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Office is duly informed; limited visitation, inspection and/or supervision by DepEd supervisory personnel or representatives for the duration of its Level III accredited status; and the privilege to apply for authority to open learning/distance extension classes; and to participate in transnational education.”
The Level III status recognizes Claret Grade School’s high standard of instruction and well-developed mechanism for improving and upgrading its own curriculum. It acknowledges not only the credible performance of teachers, which promotes effectiveness of teaching and learning, but also its strong faculty and staff development tradition. Furthermore, it recognizes the high level of achievement and performance of students in both academic and co- curricular activities, and the highly visible community extension services/outreach program of the school.
In light of this recognition, the Grade School strengthens its commitment to the pursuit of excellence in carrying on efforts toward the twin goals of academic excellence and Christian values formation. In keeping with the school’s commitment to the promotion of the integral formation of learners, fittingly expressed through its motto Scientia Maxime Cum Virtute (Knowledge is Best with Virtue), Claret Grade School undertakes the new challenge of manifesting its worthiness to the Level III accreditation status.
