The second day of the Chapter started with a Morning Prayer led by Fr. Edgar Zamudio, CMF and Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep, CMF.
Fr. Angel Calvo, CMF facilitated the day’s session. It started at 8:00 o’clock in the morning with a prayer led by Fr. Mauricio T. Ulep, CMF. Then, the Chapter Secretary, Fr. Amador Tumbaga, CMF read the minutes of the previous day. The minutes were approved with some corrections; moved for approval by Fr. Jonathan Bitoy, CMF and duly seconded by the body.
Fr. Calvo introduced the Chapter members to the day’s work which was to evaluate the status of the Province based on the Reports made by the Provincial Government and the Letter of Fr. Mathew Vattamatam, CMF on his canonical visit.
Then, the body was divided into five groups (four Prefectures and Governance). The five chosen to handle the evaluation of Economy were: Fr. James Castro, CMF, Fr. Samuel Canilang, CMF, Fr. Juan Manuel Sunaz, CMF, Fr. Renato B. Manubag, CMF and Fr. Dennis G. Tamayo, CMF.
The rest of the members of the Chapter were divided for the evaluation of Governance, and the three remaining prefectures (Apostolate, Spirituality and Formation). They had a small group evaluation and at 11:00 o’clock in the morning they again gathered at the plenary hall to make their reports. The reports were as follows:
Governance – Fr. Jonathan Bitoy, CMF

Formation &n bsp; – Fr. Efren Limpo, CMF
Apostolate – Bro. Nicer Natulla, CMF
The morning session ended with various greetings of solidarity and prayers coming from different Claretian organisms all over the world.
Lunch and siesta followed.
The Chapter sessions resumed at 2:30 PM with a prayer led by Fr. Edgar Zamudio, CMF. Fr. Calvo oriented the body as to how to proceed with the responses coming from the Provincial Government. He told the body to make their comments, reactions, and observations after the Provincial Superior and his Council responded.
Fr. Leo M. Dalmao, CMF started the response followed by the Prefect of Formation, Fr. Restituto Audal, Jr., CMF; the Prefect of Spirituality, Fr. Victor F. Sadaya, CMF; the prefect of Apostolate, Fr. Eduardo C. Apungan, CMF, and the prefect of Economy, Fr. Santiago Gonzalez, CMF.
A very alive and engaging open forum followed that had become intense as the direction for the coming three or six years was contemplated upon.
Then, Fr. James Castro, CMF gave a brief presentation of the Pre-Capitular Document. A much hearty and moving sharing followed after the presentation that had postponed the scheduled small group sharing as varied insights and observation were taken on the presented document, allowing the body to reflect on the document.
The day’s sessions closed at 6:30 PM with a Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr. Maximino Rodriquez, CMF with Fr. Edgar Zamudio, CMF and Fr. Mauricio Ulep, CMF as his co-presiders. Fr. Larry Miranda, CMF was the homilist.
Dinner followed and the meeting of the Coordinating Commission together with the Pre- Capitular Commission and Drafting Committee were done.
