The JPIC Commission held a JPIC Forum last Saturday, November 17, 2012 from eight in the morning till thirty past twelve at the Rafael Briega Auditorium, St. Anthony Mary Claret College. Fr. Angel Calvo, CMF, a veteran Claretian Missionary working for peace and social development in Mindanao was the resource speaker of the forum which was participated by the seminarian students of St. Anthony Mary Claret College, social studies students of Mr. Edgar Rocero from San Lorenzo, Teachers from Claret School of Quezon City, CUPA, Claretian sisters,
lay claretians, claretian aspirants, postulants and theologians, as well as by some Claretian Missionaries in the north. The forum was also graced by former Claretians, professors and by the presence of Fr. Matthew Vattamatam, CMF, General Prefect of Formation who is in the country for canonical visits. Fr. Eduardo Apungan, CMF , the Prefect of Apostolate gave the opening remarks.
The topics that were discussed in the forum were: 1) Claretian Documents on JPIC and Practice 2) ZABIDA 3) The GRH-Bansang Moro Signing of the Peace Framework. An open forum was held after the talks.
