Leadership Training and Seminar of KKPP and Christian Community

lidershipcupaA leadership seminar workshop was given to Kababaihang Kabalikat sa Pangkalahatang Pag-unlad (KKPP) and Christian Community at Claret House, Brgy. Pansol, Calamba, Laguna last August 31 – September 1, 2012. At least nine participants attended the said event. Bearing the Scriptural theme, “Be shepherds of God’s flock…,” the workshop was facilitated by Bro. Nicer Natulla, cmf together with Bro’s. Kevin Mark Rendor, cmf, Joseph Lang, cmf, and the rest of the Claret Urban Poor Apostolate (CUPA) staff. With a view of urban mission, the workshop had the following objectives: a. To formulate activities for KKPP and Christian Community b. To have camaraderie between organizations. c. To enhance their leadership skills. d. To know Claret more deeply. e. To conceptualize organizational vision and mission. In particular, inputs on Servant Leadership and Life of Claret were tackled during the evening session and planning and presentation of activities were followed on the next day. The complete theme of the said seminar was: “Be shepherds of God’s flock… the believers who are under your care…serve as their leaders. Don’t serve them because you have to. Instead, do it because you want to. That’s what God wants you to do. Don’t do it because you want to get more and more money. Do it because you really want to serve. (1 Peter 5:2)”
